“I have been a repeat student at Lonnie Bird’s Woodworking School for many years. Each time I attend I add to my woodworking knowledge and skills, while having a thoroughly enjoyable time. Lonnie brings to each class the best of two worlds, that of the master furniture craftsman and the professional educator, leading to the best environment I can imagine for a woodworker. Lonnie makes his classes approachable for everyone from beginner with the essentials classes to the advanced project classes. The small class size has enabled me to have individual instructional time with Lonnie. The beautiful setting near the Smoky Mountains in East Tennessee makes each visit a mini vacation. I highly recommend this furniture making school to anyone who wants to enjoy woodworking at a higher skill level.” — Bob H., TN
