If you’ve wanted to learn line & berry inlay here’s a great opportunity. In this
six-day class you’ll learn all the tricks and techniques to creating beautiful
line and berry inlay as you construct a dovetailed chest.
Line and berry inlay is a beautiful surface decoration which has its roots in
southern Wales. The inlaid arcs are painstakingly filled with contrasting woods
to create interesting patterns such as vines, pinwheels, and tulips. The vines
terminate with contrasting berries and the entire design is bordered with
herringbone inlay.
