Build a Highboy - Choose from two different styles

If you've built one of our dressing tables (lowboys), either the Pennsylvania or the Massachusetts style, then you'll want to construct the matching highboy. In this one-week class you can choose between the Pennsylvania and the Massachusetts highboy. During class, we'll focus on crafting the upper case, moldings, and drawers. We'll provide detailed drawings for constructing the lower case and completing the piece at home.

Prerequisite:  Woodworking Essentials.  The highboy is a very challenging project that requires considerable handtool skills. We want you to be prepared for this advanced course so that you will gain the most from your experience.

Note: The shop is air conditioned for your comfort!

Class size is limited to six students so that you'll receive personal attention and instruction.
